Back in late 2017, we built a 3-sided goat shed, anticipating getting goats at some point. Well that shed eventually collapsed on a windy day, and we salvaged the walls, using them as shady lean-tos for our chickens and ducks. The birds can get under these structures when it’s too hot and sunny or cold and rainy, etc. But those old goat shed walls have since deteriorated and were no longer providing any shelter, so we broke them down and decided to build a new lean-to with a corrugated metal top to it.
